Let me tell you it's not just about sitting and watching something for a long time to kill time like before it's become an activity that fills up daily life. Especially in this era where technology is more advanced, series have new dimensions to consume you don't have to leave your house, but it feels like you're traveling around the world encountering cultures you've never known, and learning about the thoughts of people who are half a world away.

It's like having a friend to talk to escaping to another world temporarily and when you finish the episode you feel like hey I can still do it I can keep going. It's like we're not alone.
