How to choose a mattress in Cyprus to sleep well?

I have recently moved to Cyprus, and now I am faced with a problem: I can't choose a suitable mattress for sleeping. I got used to my old one, and now I don't know which one is better to take to sleep well and not suffer from back pain. Are there any brands in Cyprus that are really worth considering?

I would look at the firmness and filling, because Cyprus has a hot climate and it is important that the mattress has good airflow. It also depends on which side you are used to sleeping on - if you sleep on your back, it is better to have something with lumbar support, if you sleep on your side, it should be softer. How do you know what level of stiffness is right for you? It seems to me that too soft will sag quickly, and hard can be uncomfortable. Is there any point in trying some models before buying, or is everyone buying online now?
